Office 365 and School District 52 Email

This is a great set of instructions on how to access your school email at home.  Thank you Royce and Rainmakers Now for this instructional video!

If you are having trouble logging into your SD 52 email (maybe you forgot your password) I recommend contacting your teachers and sending them an alternate email that you would prefer to use. If you have further questions, concerns please contact Ms. Rourke or Ms. Lihou: carla.rourke@sd52.bc.ca or Aja.lihou@sd52.bc.ca

If you need to access Office 365 for the Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, or One Drive applications, please call the school and speak directly with Ms. Atchison.  She will reset your password to whatever you choose.  250-624-5031 and “press zero”

Zoom Meetings

Many teachers will be running Zoom meetings as a way to connect live with students.  Please see the following tutorial on how to connect to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Moodle

Each teacher using Moodle has a course section on our Moodle link http://moodle01.sd52.bc.ca/course/index.php?categoryid=5

Students should be able to enroll in a course by using the same username and password that they use to logon to our school computers.  If you are having trouble accessing a course, please email your teacher and they will troubleshoot with you.  Please note that the “Forgot your password” option is not working.

Students accessing Moodle on an Apple computer will need to download Google Chrome for Moodle to work.

Edmodo

Some teachers will be using Edmodo as their online learning platform.  You will need to sign up for Edmodo online and use the course code to gain access to the course.  You can find more information on each teacher’s individual page.  We recommend

See below for a tutorial on connecting to Edmodo
