Adventures in the Port of Prince Rupert

The Rotary Club of Prince Rupert is offering students in Grades 9-12 an opportunity to attend the 2025 Adventures in the Port of Prince Rupert Program held in Prince Rupert, B.C. from May 27-29, 2025.

Now in its 9th  year, the program offers a unique opportunity for students to meet future employers, see industry in action and learn of career opportunities available to them. While every year is different, sites have included: BC Ferries, DP World, Ridley Terminals, Prince Rupert Grain, Saam Smit Marine, Canadian Coast Guard, Citywest, Raymont Logistics, Pinnacle Renewable Resources, Broadwater Industries, Coast Mountain College, Western Canada Marine Response Corporation and The Prince Rupert Port Authority. There is no cost to participate but students must attend all 3 days of the program and participate in after program activities.

Selection Criteria:

Students will be assessed on the following criteria (in no particular order):

  1. Leadership
  2. Participation Rationale
  3. School Recommendation

Students who are interested can pick up an application from Mr. O’Toole in the counselling office and return completed by March 15, 2025.
